Joining Yarn in Cardigans - Unire matasse nei cardigan

DSCN3030

When knitting cardigans, this is my favorite method to join yarn: along the inside border. I knit two stitches with doubled yarn (one from the border and the other one from the body part), and then I hide the tails along the separation line between the border and the body part.

By doing this, sometimes I waste some pieces of yarn, but the result is much neater on the right side of the cardigan.

  1. great idea! I use the method of knitting with doubled yarn, but the idea of "hiding" the join where the border meets the body of the sweater is great!
